About Me

~ About me ~

Who am I, another person on the Internet with a blog? Among so many others looking for a spot to be heard? About me’s always seem so awkward and hard to write. But here we go.

I’m a twenty-something year old who pretends on one day to be Jyn blowing up the Death Star, or a Hobbit destroying the One Ring. Some days I’m Rey (who is completely awesome) or a Ravenclaw student who is witty and loves to learn.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”

― Albert Einstein

I live on a farm with my family in Louisiana, where I spend my spare hours writing. I’m currently unpublished, but I hope to be one day soon.

I love stories, especially fairy tales. I live and breathe them, dream them, pretend they are real, because to me they are. Everyone’s story starts with “once upon a time,” the moment God spoke our existence into being.  And this blog is just a start of what’s happening in my fairy tale, written by God himself.

“Every man’s life is a fairy tale, written by God’s fingers.”  ~  Hans Christian Andersen

Middle-Earth means a lot to me. I cry a lot reading the books, watching the movies. I’m obsessed over Tolkien. I adore his works, though he isn’t my only favorite author. Others are Tessa Emily Hall, Marissa Meyer, Serena Chase, Gillian Bronte Adams, Nadine Brandes, Stephanie Morrill, J.K. Rowling,  Melanie Dickerson, and John Otte.

Lastly, I love my cats, Pearl and Shadow, and I am obsessed with Funko Pops. They are cute, and make good book shelf decorations.
