About Me

~ About me ~

Well, I’m me.  A Christian, and OYANer, a writer, and an avid reader. I read across many genres, though my favorite is fantasy.

Ravenclaw is my house (the best house by the way 😉  )

I live in the great state of Louisiana with my family, and I love the culture, not to mention the amazing food, and football.

The sea is my passion. I live and breathe the sea, and I love that my last name means “sea dweller” or “by the sea.”

I love my cats, Pearl and Shadow.

I love fairy tales, but Beauty and the Beast is my joy. My favorite part of one of my book cases is the fairy tale section.

I like to decorate my bookshelves with Funko Pops. I’m slightly obsessed with those things.

I adore England, Scotland, and Italy. All three are rich in culture and stories. If I could only choose one, it would be Italy all the way.

Middle-Earth means a lot to me. I cry a lot reading the books, watching the movies (both of which I have a good part memorized). I’m obsessed over Tolkien. Don’t believe me? I have a whole bookcase devoted to the man. Yes, I said case. And I may or may not have five different copies of The Hobbit.

I’m a college sophomore working with Lumerit Education (aka CollegePlus) to get my bachelor’s degree in English.

My favorite authors are Serena Chase, Gillian Bronte Adams, Nadine Brandes, Stephanie Morrill, J. R. R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling,  Melanie Dickerson, John Otte, and Tessa Emily Hall.

My favorite movies include, Tangled, The Force Awakens, Pride and Prejudice (the 1995 version) Sense and Sensibility (the 1995 version with Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson), and The Lord of the Rings.
